As of 9;30 am pacific standard time Twitter.com is down.  The company has reported an attacker has tried to take down the site using the denial-of-service method.  This is when a hacker tries to load the web page from millions and millions of different i.p. addresses in an effort to overload the servers and take the site down.  Who would want to do such a thing? no one knows.

All we know is that as of now, people have to find a new method of wasting time on the Internet.

Update: Twitter is back online and healty again! Keep tweeting guys!
