I just read an interesting article today that spoke about being able to use wireless technology to charge your laptop, cell phone, and Ipod without ever using a power cord ever again.  According to the article from cnn researchers from MIT confirm that in about a year or so households will start using wireless technology to charge everyday appliances.  The technology basically takes electricity and transforms it into a magnetic wave which is then received by the wireless device.  I would have never thought the day would come where untangling power cords would be obsolete.
