Honestly everytime i look at the news feeds on cnn or Fox News, one of the headlines has to do with Michael Jackson. I understand he was an amazing person, i understand he was the king of pop, but really its enough. Not only did we devote 2 months of our lives to hearing his music everywhere, and seeing him on TV every two seconds, but when i read any type of news report i feel like his name just follows me around.

I have nothing against Michael Jackson, i have something against the media blowing this story up to proportions never before seen. I just want to ask the news companies to do us all a favor and focus on news that is actually important, we don’t need to know every little thing Michael Jackson did before he died.

I’m sitting at a computer desk in my room on the 11th floor of one of thousands of similar looking apartment buildings in this city thinking about what our purpose on this planet is for. Were we actually put here by some divine being to serve a higher purpose or was everything put here in a harmonious symphony by some random coincidences that had no prior planning? One can argue that there really is no purpose and were all just small parts of this gigantic rat race we call life. I’m not here to answer that question…

To keep our mind off this eternal unanswered question we try to give ourselves some meaning by instilling some small purposes in our lives. For example, the accountant in that office building down the street has his mind on financial numbers, while the carpenter on the other side of town has his mind on his buildings project. We call these purposes we assign ourselves careers. These careers are what keep our minds from wandering off and asking the question “why”. Why am i here? Why am i doing what I’m doing? Why am i breathing? Most of these “why” questions don’t really have answers, and that’s why we just have to accept them as they are and keep crunching our numbers, however meaningless they may seem.

In the end, i believe man needs this purpose. I’m not talking about the “universal purpose of humans on this planet” that everyone asks about. I’m talking about keeping ourselves busy with the small things, the aspects of our lives that we take for granted like our jobs, our friends, our families, and even the notion of love. These ideas of belonging, security, and affection help us cope with the fact that most of the reasons of “why we are alive” are unknown to us. That’s why i ask those that read this post today to cherish every aspect of your lives whether it be your sucky job or your needy girlfriend, because when its all over you will be able to look back and say “my life actually had a purpose”.

Scientists have just come up with an answer to why we swing our arms back and forth when we walk. One would think that this swinging motion would use more energy than keeping our arms still, but in fact they found that keeping your arms still while walking uses up 12 percent more energy than letting them swing freely. Naturally, we always take the easy way out…

It was always thought that swinging our arms while walking was one of those unnecessary things that was passed down to us from our evolutionary ancestors, like our appendix, but apparently not. It might be weird to think about, but in this sense, “moving” your arms actually burns up less calories than not “moving” them. So keep swinging those arms and making your ancestors proud! What a World…..Here is the Article Enjoy

My question is who the hell is paying for scientists to do these sort of tests? I mean this is one of the most random things i have heard and it just makes you think what insanely weird tests are going on behind our backs. This test may have yielded a positive result, but what about all those tests that didn’t. Next we’ll probably hear that feces can actually be used as a viable alternative to shampoo! Honestly, I’m all for curiosity, but this is going too far…The report shows that when the blue dye is injected it turned the lab rats blue. These scientists are petitioning the FDA to allow human test subjects. Next time you see a blue guy in the street you should know he’s not just really sad, he’s part of a weird experiment. haha enjoy…Click Here
